Beta Theta Pi at Mizzou Dedicates Chapter House
|
It is with great pride that the Zeta Phi Chapter of Beta Theta Pi recently announced the Building on a Tradition of Excellence campaign having raised more than $9.7 million. As maintenance concerns grow and competition increases from the university and other fraternities that have renovated their housing, the Beta Theta Pi Club of Missouri is committed to providing a competitive and safe facility that will meet the needs of its undergraduate members well into the 21st century.
During the past 5 years, a group of dedicated alumni resolved that something must be done to the facility, and the Beta Theta Pi Club has explored each opportunity and developed a solid strategy to provide a facility that reflects the long-standing tradition of excellence of Zeta Phi. To this end, the leadership engaged architects and consultants to develop plans and fundraising goals. This hard work has produced a comprehensive plan to look toward the future and provide the men of Zeta Phi with a first-class facility with ample parking.
Construction will begin in May and it promises to make 520 College a place parents and students can be proud of and one which bridges the competitive gap between alternative university and fraternity housing at Mizzou.
