Highlights
Since its construction in 1955, the Acacia Chapter House at Kansas State University has seen little in the way of renovation. Alumni leadership has developed a plan to address long-term viability for the unique Acacia experience on the Kansas State campus. Capital campaign plans are forthcoming. Planned enhancements include:

•Installation of life-safety features, including hard-wired smoke detectors and sprinkler system, and replacing designated interior doors with fire-rated, self-closing doors

•Plumbing, electrical, and air conditioning systems upgrades

•Installation of drainage and parking lot pavement

•New floor coverings, furniture, lighting, interior and exterior paint, and upgraded landscaping

•Installation of modular desks and closets in sleep-study suites for enhanced flexibility in academic work and daily living
