Built in 1927, the Alpha Nu chapter house has been a part of Alpha Chi Omega’s legacy  at the University of Missouri for 85 years and was showing its age. Modernization through a sorority fundraising campaign was needed to create a home that is welcoming and representative of its strong membership. It became clear that major investment in the chapter house was in order.

  • Installed sprinklers mandated by the City of Columbia

  • Installed exterior lighting

  • Updated landscaping

  • Redecorated first floor living room, den, and sitting room

  • Installed a deck addition on south side of the house

  • Expanded and remodeled dining room

  • Expanded lower level to add additional study areas, restrooms, and a project room

  • Relocated staircase to basement

  • Updated the second and third floor bedrooms and bathrooms and purchased new bedroom furniture
