Washburn University’s Alpha Delta Chapter carefully evaluated current and future needs and executed a fraternity fundraising campaign for a $1.6 million renovation. The results:

Preserved the character and beauty of the existing stone house

Enhanced the exterior of the house to include a new side entry, parking lot, and exterior plaza for chapter functions

Provided four-man and two-man suites that included a spacious study room, separate sleeping room, and semi-private bath

Created central gathering spaces to increase community

Provided a new dining hall and kitchen facility

Balanced educational spaces with non-educational spaces

Provided a variety of study spaces: computer room, library, group and individual study rooms
