Along with construction planning, the Beta Theta Pi Building Association has developed extensive policies that will be implemented to help foster an environment that will preserve the new facility and will govern the use, maintenance, and activities conducted in the house for the Theta Delta Chapter of Beta Theta Pi at the Ohio State University. Our new Beta house will have a strategic live-in capacity of 50 men: large enough to have a critical mass of a successful chapter under one roof living the fraternity experience while not being too large to require recruiting just anyone to fill it. We learned from our past; this is the culmination of decades of experience. Improvements as a result of this capital fundraising campaign include:

  • A chapter room large and private enough to hold Ritual

  • A dining room where brothers can enjoy meals together

  • Common spaces for socializing and bonding

  • A front porch for gathering, connecting decades of memories from the old house to our new generation

  • Private study spaces for individual or group study sessions

  • Study rooms large enough to accommodate today’s student needs

  • Private bathrooms

  • A streamlined kitchen to meet the chapter’s needs without wasting valuable square footage

  • A resident advisor, as well as an office/suite, to ensure proper maintenance of the facility

  • Maximized parking with our limited lot space
