The Epsilon Alpha alumnae and undergraduate leadership have developed a solid plan to address the long-term viability of the Chi Omega experience on the University of Oklahoma campus through a capital fundraising campaign. Through careful study, assessment, and planning, it has been determined that updates and maintenance to the Chapter House are necessary, and they must invest in the home to meet the needs of today’s students. Improvements include:

  • Lighting was replaced and rewired to enhance the study space

  • New computers, print stations, and a smart board provide the technology needed by today’s college students

  • Replace trim work due to water damage and old age

  • Add dormers to the roofline to add elegance and better reflect the original design of the elevation

  • Replace the front door, exterior lighting, and all wood-clad windows for more secure and visually pleasing entry

  • Remove walls from dining room, chapter room, and informal living room to create a more open and usable space

  • Build two ADA-accessible restrooms and powder rooms on the first floor

  • Add access to courtyard from dining room with new exterior

  • seating and security
