The major renovation and expansion of the Kappa Kappa Gamma chapter house at Kansas State University in 1999 addressed several key issues and provided Gamma Alpha with a premier facility on campus. As they approach 100 years at Kansas State University, the time has come to again renovate and upgrade the chapter house to meet the needs of current and future Kappas.

  • Major updates to the exterior of the house

  • New, insulated windows for the majority of the house for energy efficiency and safety

  • Replace the electrical system and the heating and air conditioning system for greater efficiency and temperature regulation in each room

  • Update the basement with structural reinforcement, new carpet, paint, and a renovation to the television room and the study room

  • New, insulated windows for the “new” wing of the house for energy efficiency and safety

  • Create a welcome-home feel with a new foyer, alcove, and updates to the hall flooring

  • Provide ample study space and improve wireless Internet access throughout the facility

  • Modernize and renovate the bathrooms to repair all of the plumbing issues that result in leakage into the dining room area

  • Renovate and reconfigure the bedrooms/study rooms on the second and third floors
