Realizing that a full-scale renovation of their cherished and revered 95-year-old chapter house was not cost effective, nor would it address the future needs of the chapter, the Ohio State University Delta Chapter commenced a $4.5 million fraternity fundraising and rebuilding project for a new Chapter home that maintained the architectural integrity of the current facility. The Ohio Delta Company engaged the professional services of Treanor Architects, college housing specialists, to develop the design of their new facility, as well as create a business model to provide financial guidance for the alumni leadership.

  • Increase the total square footage in the house

  • Provide lodging for 35 live-in members – the existing house holds 40 men

  • Establish an Honor's Floor to reward and recognize Brothers who excel in the classroom

  • Redesign study spaces to better compete with residence halls and apartments

  • Create an all-inclusive housemother’s suite

  • Construct facade to resemble current Chapter house
