After careful study, assessment, and planning, the Gamma Chi leadership of Pi Kappa Alpha at Oklahoma State University has engaged the services of Gould Evans Architects to assess the long-term needs of the chapter house and to develop a plan to address those needs by way of a capital fundraising campaign. The emphasis of the design will be placed on providing ample study and social space, access to technology, and offer suite-style living arrangements for the undergraduate brothers. Additionally, the house was designed to incorporate some of the defining architectural characteristics from Pi Kappa Alpha’s historical beginnings at Monticello while complementing the beauty of the Oklahoma State campus. In all areas, the architect has been instructed to address mandatory building and fire code requirements. In addition, they placed a special emphasis on the use of practical and durable building materials, finishes, and fixtures. The aim is a high-quality durable facility that will provide a safe living and learning environment.
