The Sigma Nu Chapter at the University of Idaho addressed the long-term needs of the chapter house with the emphasis of the renovation focused on providing ample study space and a more competitive physical structure for attracting quality young men. This included a complete reconstruction of the second and third floors and a major renovation of the rest of the facility. Through a capital fundraising campaign, the following renovations were completed:

Created a safe living environment with the installation of sprinklers and fire-rated, self-closing doors 
- 
Constructed a new stair tower to provide a second route of egress from the building 
- 
Demolished existing back staircase 
- 
Installed elevator, per ADA requirements 
- 
Installed new windows throughout 
- 
Installed new electrical/data/mechanical systems 
- 
Enlarged the kitchen to accommodate modern equipment 
- 
Enlarged the dining room and built a kitchenette to allow late night access 
- 
Remodeled chapter room 
- 
Added three new study rooms 
- 
Added two new bathrooms at the entrance for guests 
- 
Added Hall of Honor from the library to the new stair tower 
- 
Demolished second floor and rebuilt all study rooms 
- 
Relocated main bathroom/shower to the back of the house, allowing enough access for all occupants

Enlarged bathroom 
- 
Demolished walls and reconstructed/insulated

Enlarged two study rooms of the sophomore porch
