The Alpha Zeta Association of Theta Xi at the University of California, Los Angeles, has developed a solid plan to address the long-term viability of the Theta Xi fraternity experience on the UCLA campus. Updates and maintenance to the house are necessary, and the chapter embarked on a successful fraternity fundraising campaign to fund the needs of today’s students. Working with architect and Brother Terry Galloway ’74, AZ661, the Alpha Zeta Association of Theta Xi has developed a tactical approach to our future.
Facility Improvements:

Storage/multipurpose – Excavation and renovation of the basement area under the living room

Installation of fire sprinkler system and earthquake retrofits throughout the house

Excavation and renovation of hill located above the swimming pool to include a tiered terrace area with fire pit

Dream court/study room – If fundraising exceeds $2 million, excavation and renovation of hillside located behind the kitchen to create a study room with a rooftop sports court
