Alpha Delta, Montana State University’s chapter of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity, embarked on a fraternity fundraising effort to renovate their aging house. Their plan includes the following upgrades:

  • Install fire sprinklers and meet code requirements
  • Address ADA compliance by installing a LULA lift

  • Provide high-speed wireless Internet and high-definition cable television

  • Upgrade insulation

  • Convert housemother’s suite into a study room and guest restroom

  • Create an accessibility ramp

  • Create a secure pantry

  • Replace carpet and repaint The Nook

  • Replace the boiler with a high-efficiency heating system  

  • Add lockable door to prevent access to dorm wing during social functions

  • Convert basement storage area into the chapter room

  • Convert TV room into storage room

  • Create new lower level exit

  • Build an addition with six rooms per floor and enclosed stair tower

  • Reconfigure room layout for 17 single rooms per floor

  • Increase size of Top Hat and Zebra for ADA compliance

  • Add two new group study rooms per floor

  • Renovate restroom to provide two toilets, one urinal, and four private showers per floor

  • Enhance landscaping for better appeal and low-maintenance lawn care

  • Refurbish parking lot
  • Replace roofing material
