The Delta alumni and undergraduate leadership of Alpha Gamma Rho at Purdue University have developed a solid plan to address the long-term viability of the fraternity experience on the Purdue campus. Through careful study, assessment, and planning, it has been determined that updates and maintenance to the chapter house are necessary, and the fraternity must invest in the proceeds of a successful fraternity fundraising campaign to meet the needs of today’s students. Working with local firm KJG Architecture, we developed a tactical approach to our future. An emphasis has been placed on providing ample study place and a competitive and attractive living environment. The goal is a high-quality, durable renovation that will provide a safe living and state-of-the-art learning environment for generations. After receiving further input from alumni and undergraduates over the course of the spring 2017 semester, this proposed renovation has a very simple goal—bring the chapter house into the 21st century. We are striving for a high-quality, durable structure that will fuel future AGRs’ leadership, character, and personal growth.
