After 40 years at the University of Idaho without any major improvements, an extensive renovation and expansion of Delta Tau Delta’s aging Delta Mu House was deemed necessary. After a highly successful fraternity fundraising campaign, the chapter:

Added 2,870 sq. ft. to the west end of the house

Created ample individual and group study space

Installed sprinklers and fire-rated, self-closing doors

Constructed a new stair tower to provide a second route of egress

Replaced roof

Updated the house for ADA accessibility

Installed new electrical/data/mechanical systems

Installed new windows, lighting and finishes throughout the house

Expanded size of current recreation room by more than 50%

Added storage areas

Added an enclosed vending area

Built new bathroom with showers

Remodeled chapter room

Excavated front hillside to allow daylight entry to lower level

Created formal entryway and two new guest bathrooms

Enlarged kitchen

Enlarged dining room and build buffet area

Added an advisor/ADA-compliant living area
