In order to increase the living and educational space and to make facility upgrades for the chapter house of Delta Upsilon at Kansas State University, they participated in a fraternity capital campaign and fraternity fundraising initiative to remain competitive with other fraternities at KSU. In updating the 40-year-old facility, they were able to:

Move the kitchen and dining facilities from the basement to the new firstfloor addition

Create a library/study hall and a computer room in space in the basementthat was vacated

Increase the capacity of the chapter house from 68 to 82 men

Remodel the study rooms

Replace the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

Expand parking area
