Alpha Delta Zeta alumni and undergraduate leadership for Lambda Chi Alpha have developed a solid plan to address the long-term viability of the fraternity experience on the Missouri S&T campus. Through careful study, assessment, and planning, it has been determined that a complete remodel and two additions to the chapter house are necessary, and the fraternity must invest in the home to meet the needs of today’s students. Working with Dick Busch Architects, Chesterfield, Missouri, the Alpha Delta Zeta House Corporation has developed a tactical approach to their future.

  • Add 5,000 sq. ft. of living space to the chapter house

  • 3,100 sq. ft. addition at front of the house will provide 10 suite-style bedrooms on the second and third floors

  • 1,900 sq. ft. addition at rear of the house will provide dedicated social space with restrooms

  • Remodel existing space with new flooring, paint, fixtures, and finishes

  • Address mandatory life-safety issues with sprinklers, fire-rated doors, and full compliance with code specifications

  • Provide ample study space, including areas for individual and group study, as well as wireless Internet access throughout the facility

  • Replace heating and cooling, plumbing, and electrical systems to accommodate the volume/size of the house and address safety issues
