Phi Kappa Psi at the University of Illinois produces leaders that strengthen communities and society as a whole. Throughout Phi Psi and on campuses all across America, alumni are recognizing that to succeed at this mission the chapter must transform their aging house into a home that is modern and safe for learning with state-of-the-art technology and equipment that compete with the wide range of housing options on a modern campus. Because of a successful capital fundraising campaign, the following improvements were completed:

  • Floor to be dropped 1’ so basement is more functional

  • Two exits for safety

  • New chapter room

  • New activity rooms and atrium connection to first floor

  • New courtyard

  • Sprinklers to be installed throughout

  • New elevator serving all floors

  • New study rooms

  • Updated kitchen

  • New bathroom configuration with individual showers

  • New two-man bedrooms

  • New bathroom configuration with individual showers

  • Study/common areas separate from rooms

  • Guest bathroom on each floor

  • New study areas with carrels
