As the brothers of Phi Kappa Psi at the University of Missouri look toward their 150th celebration in 2019, a renewed house, combined with educational and leadership programming, will stand as a legacy of our outstanding contribution to Phi Psi at Mizzou. A significant fundraising campaign will facilitate the following improvements:

  • Renovate the current house with durability and aesthetic curb appeal that fits the historic architecture of the original structure

  • Raze and rebuild the “new wing” to match the original structure and expand living space

  • Accommodate 50 men in a mixture of single, two-, three-, and four-man rooms

  • Design an attractive apartment for live-in adult supervision

  • Address mandatory life-safety issues with sprinklers, fire-rated doors, and full code compliance

  • Leverage technology to make power usage efficient and increase wireless internet access throughout the house

  • Provide informal and formal study spaces, including areas for individual and group study, and gathering space for brothers living off campus

  • Design a full-service dining area to provide meal service with increased efficiency

  • Convert the “old wing” to first-class study areas and chapter leader bedrooms to maintain architecture and historic value of the original structure

  • Old wing living room and TV room converted to single formal reception space

  • Renovate and expand chapter room to accommodate facilitation of chapter activities

  • Convert old wing second-story rooms to combination of committee meeting conference rooms, upperclassman residential space, and study rooms

  • Provide adequate parking, green space, and internal communal space for sporting events, alumni weekends, Founders Day, and Chapter Day
